I understand Robert trying to make this happen. He is a good boxer and has a lot of support from his promoter but he just hasn't earned the fight yet. He might have the style to make it interesting but he doesn't have the following or the resume to have it make sense financially -- not to mention, Floyd is trying to build his legacy and this fight has nothing to offer in that regard.

I've asked in two threads, and gotten no reply. It's easy to say "he's young and hungry" without giving a real answer, but that mean nothing. I don't care how young and hungry someone is, you still have to give a scenario for how a fighter can beat another fighter if you are trying to sell the fight as legit.

I have Ortiz stopping Guerrero if they fought. He is a good boxer though but how do we know if he can just adjust to the 147lb division without fighting some lower calibre fighters then Floyd.

man, I'm not actually arguing for the fight (it would be a JOKE if it did) all I'm saying is stylistically I can see him giving floyd some problems, especially with his great jab (boxing isn't just about power you know). Floyd would obviously beat him but I bet you he lands more than 8 punches total or whatever the hell victor ortiz did.

The Ghost has to PROVE his worth and obviously he hasn't done that yet. I personally thought he was going to school maidana but unfortunately the injury occurred.
