Seth Mitchell and Mike Perez...2 Heavyweight hopes!!!

How good do you really think Seth Mitchell (USA) and Mike Perez (CUBA/IRELAND) will really turn out to be???

The other main notables at heavyweight include:

    Vitali Klitschko
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Alexander Povetkin
    Dereck Chisora
    Robert Helenius
    Denis Boytsov
    Tyson Fury
    David Haye (maybe)
    Eddie Chambers
    Tomasz Adamek

How do you think Seth Mitchell and Mike Perez will fare at Heavyweight the next 2-3 years, and how good do yout hink they will turn out to be???

Both have impressed me so far.

The heavyweight division has lots of talented up-and-comers right now. There's a lot of interesting fights that can be made in the next few years.

Agree. Right now, I'd place both Klitschko bro's between 16-20 on the ATG HW list.

But, if fighters like Mitchell, Perez, Povetkin, Boytsov, really look great and get some big wins, and than if the Klitschko's beat them....I'd have to put them just inside the Top 15 HW All-Time. I gotta remind you that I'm saying they are top 16-20 right now based on career, era, styles, etc. H2H, both are probably in the Top 10 without a doubt.

But, I am actually really excited about Mitchell and Perez. Fury will be exposed, badly. He's not nearly in shape enough to compete with the Klitschko's, and I think Mitchell, Perez, Povetkin, are the most legit threats in the next few years.

Perez fights sort of like Tyson or Liston, only he's probably not as good. But, the style is really similar.

I have said it time and time again.....the best American Heavyweights are playing in the NFL right now. Ray Lewis, James Harrison, Terrell Suggs, DeMarcus Ware, Lamarr Woodley, Von Miller, etc.

Football has taken away so many of the heavyweight-esque American athletes.

I mean Eddie Cahmbers and Chris Arreola are the highest ranked American HW right now, that says something. Eddie Chambers would be a contender in the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's, but not a top fighter at HW, at all. And Chris Arreola, he would be a stepping stone/door mat in those eras.

Lol at crediting imaginary fighters who don't exist and claiming they would be the best anything in boxing if they actually existed but they don't.
