He might not be a heavyweight but he is certainly not a light heavyweight. Plus, the LHW-division is stacked with great fighters and promising matchups as it is, cruiserweight is where Jirov belongs.

In all fairness, I remember Jirov dominating that fight with his jab before the 1-punch KO.

            1. jirov stays at HW and continually looks horrible and loses to every "quality" fighter he faces.

            OR

            2. jirov moves down to CW, gets back his game, and starts up some good rivalries/fights.

              hmm

Jirov is fat and gone. I loved the guy. He had so much potential to give more great fights and performances, but he ****ed it all up by moving up in weight. He'll never make cruiser again, won't even try. He just had a draw with Orlin Norris I believe. Ridiculous...Jirov's career is a top guy are over, which means his career is over.

Shoulda stayed at cruiserweight and beat up Big Truck and Mormeck and Bell and after Toney went up.

I dont think Jirov will ever be as good as he used to be, no matter what he does. Before he fought Toney he was an Olympic Gold medalist, undefeated cruiserweight champion. In that fight he did everything he could and he still lost and got hurt severely. Kinda a confidence thing you know, plus he's gotten older, maybe lost a zeal he may have once had. But I could be wrong.

He seem like he's taken a lot of punishment. To call him shot might be too much, but he's not the same fighter that gave James Toney everything he could handle in their fight.
