I agree, he's #1 P4P right now. But the Marquez fight didn't prove it in my honest opinion.

Styles make fights and Marquez gained weight properly against Pac than against Floyd. Plus Marquez will always be Pacquiao's counter.

Plus look at the Hatton fights. Pac destroyed Hatton who got his confidence back and was still undefeated at 140. Alot of people discredit Hatton but alot of people thought he had a good chance at beating Pacquiao.

When did that happen ?

I was wondering why Team manny didn't take this appraoch off the rip, because they could have stayed on the make Floyd look bad wagon had they said we are trying to make it from the start without trying to really make it like in the past~ then when Floyd chooses a shabby option (really all his options are somewhat shabby) it would continue the same narrative.

Now it is a little late and Bob said some dumb shit that makes it hard get back on track, but Manny did need to say something like this to save some face.

Read this article!!! The writer of this story on BOXINGSCENE just jacked the quotes that Manny said which were good, but left out this biggest one.

Manny says in the story that it's still upt o his promoter who he fights, so people need to relax.

If Manny really wanted that fight he would have demanded Mayweather.

Pac knows that Arum has been roadblocking the fight, there is no question about that..... so if Manny was serious he would force Bob's hand.

He CLEARLY has not forced Arum's hand, it is a total fkn joke that Manny thinks that Mayweather "should be given preference" over Peterson.
