I'm a Pac fan but it's clearly a bullshit statement. Your promoter doesn't choose who you fight, his job is to offer you fights but you have the final say. It was very apparent during the negotiations for the Oscar and Hatton fights. Pac rejected the initial offers but ultimately signed the contracts, he had the final say back then and he has the final say now.

How come whenever you HEAR Pacquaio he stamers and stutters like a drunk idiot but when you read about something he said it is coherent and in complete sentences? Is that just something the writers "fix" ? I am asking this because this seems to good to be true so it probably is. I'm wondering if Bob wrote that little bit and Pacquiao co-signs it like a good little puppy. Thisway Bob can turn it down and the blame will be off pacquiao and Bob wil be the scapegoat like a good promoter he is. I really hope I am wrong but I just don't think this fight is happening.
