You got guys like him and Fischer who both held a personal grudge over Mayweather because of what was said to them years ago, Why would any take them seriously or follow them on twitter? They are a joke with zero credibility, Am sure Arum is depositing their cheques for them every month by post to look the other way while bashing other boxers and promoters, They way they hang on the Margarito train and then blame other journalist when he was caught with plaster wraps was also a disgrace.

I've been reading maxboxing since like 2005 and both Fisher and Kim DESPISE Mayweather. I can see them being critical of him but this is personal.

Just to add, at least Kim is consistent with his love for Top Rank and hate for GBP. Fisher was the same and now he works for GBP and defends their actions.

Fisher is one of about 5 guys i read every day. I dont have to prove a thing to you unless its worth it. You dont even read dude but you think a certain way about him. Means you dont know jack shi t. Im not your daddy to teach you. Use google or do some research yourself.

I think people like Fisher cuz' he's one of the very few journalists who do the "gym reports". He actually travels to different gyms, interview local fighters, reports what he see's in sparring etc etc.

Steve Kim isn't bad, he just not that good either. He's in the middle of the pack when it comes to boxing journalism.

Really boxing journalism is at an all time low. After Cliff Rold, Jake Donovan, and Thomas Hausser the writing goes down hill.

Appreciate that but I don't consider myself a journalist in the vein of Hauser. At all. Hauser is a primary source. He writes with deep sources and on-hand experience (he's in the locker room taking notes before tons of big fights). I might do live coverage sometimes (much less lately), but I mostly do op-eds and comparative analysis pieces. The latter get me labeled historian sometimes; I dispute that too.

If there are people who like my writing and contributions, and there are, I'm happy as hell. Love boxing.

I actually think Steve was pretty spot on today. I've written a ton of what I think are objective observations on this...more will come...not sure if I'm ready to comment on this as I think it's all still playing out.
