number one joke of boxing journalism has to be Scoop Malinowski by a mile. I cant see how anyone else can come close to topping this clown as laughable in the boxing journalism world...

I think people like Fisher cuz' he's one of the very few journalists who do the "gym reports". He actually travels to different gyms, interview local fighters, reports what he see's in sparring etc etc.

Steve Kim isn't bad, he just not that good either. He's in the middle of the pack when it comes to boxing journalism.

Really boxing journalism is at an all time low. After Cliff Rold, Jake Donovan, and Thomas Hausser the writing goes down hill.

You've already admitted to me you dont read or follow fisher. You don't like him either for that. I read a lot of him and you and you'd be surprised with some of the similarities (lennox lewis for one).

Ray wrote that bob is paying fisher. Right there i know that ray's talking shi t.
Ray doesnt know doug is always always talking and writing about how top rank gets waaaay too much favorbale press and that when tr does the same things as golden boy they catch no heat.

Fisher and kim are such different journalists that i know someone's talking out of their ass straight away when they are lumped together anymore. So they had a website, rightfully called out floyd, and hage a west coast bias. That's where it ends.

There's plenty of terrible boxing writers. Steve Kim isn't the biggest joke at all.

Scoop is horrible and a racist. I'm with you with Scoop. But, guys like Ronnie and Marley are on that level as well. They might not be as bad as Scoop but they're close to it.

I still prefer Kim over the likes of Kevin Iole, Lyle Fitzsimmons, and Dan Rafael. But, I don't think Kim is that good either. I see him in the middle of the pack.

Kim's really just a news breaker with some views on the future of boxing.

The reason I don't take most of them seriously is because they are divas who have biases against certain fighters for whatever reason. I mean if u are gonna sit here and say Steve Kim isn't biased then your eyes are fooling you. Same thing goes for Fischer. Even more so for him in fact. Boxing as a sport is more filled with diva writers and commentators than any other sport IMO.

Like warp says, he is a fan of building boxers in their hometown and is against casino venues. The dude rips fat shaw and dibella all the time. He loves peltz, main events and those cats from montreal. Promoting strictly through site fees or hbo license fees is taking the easy way out and does very little for boxing in the long term.

I will give you that blocking people with different views i poosie, but twitter's gay in the first place.

Lol at ray. Fisher and kim have no credibility? Okay, they have tons of respect on the west coast and especially doug is an up and coming journalist and announcer (even though he sounds like a super geek).

These dudes make their living writing about boxing and have hof votes...... Floyd fans hate hearing the truth.
Duke Gtfoh. Both those dudes are **** writers and both are bias.

Links or quotes of Fischer doing so...?

Also, Fischer commentates for GBP cards but rides arum and pacquiao because that's where all the positive media is at, go figure.

Exactly. Rafael was riding Mayweather until he walked away in '07. Pacquiao became the flavor of the month so he jumped on the train and started discrediting Mayweather. Mayweather came back, was active, made the better fights, and now he's back on board.
