Robert, you are a good fighter, but you have not won a 140 belt, let alone a legitimate 135 belt. You are not worthy of being mention of a fight against Mayweather yet. Stop this BS.

          What?

So let me get this straight. Guerrero should just shut his mouth and fight somebody at 140 to earn his shot at Floyd?

Man i am glad as hell you guys are promoting me, I would be hurting.
Does he deserve it? No probably not, but to ask him to speak about fighting someone who is a tough fight like a Maidana, or a Bradley for a fraction of what he would make in a fight against Mayweather is just a lack of business sense.

I mean no disrespect but come on man! Bradley can't sell out his hometown, and no one in the general public knows Maidana, so the guy is making a pitch at the biggest name in the game. The fight will sell itself. If its Mayweather or Pacquiao it always does. That's the politics of the game like or not, and Guerrero sees an opening to make a play. Can't blame the guy for that can you?

Robert is very worthy the only problem I see is his weight class.
              1. You, pointed out his weight class well done. He's only ever fought at 135 and below. Another issue is the best person he's fought at 135 is Katsidis, to put that in perspective, Burns, Diaz, Marquez and Casamayor have beaten Katsidis.

              2. The best fighter he's ever fought is probably Klassen.

              3. He holds no physical advantages that would offset Mayweather such as blazing handspeed or crushing power. He doesn't hold stylistic advantages either, Marquez is a better all around fighter and couldn't touch Floyd. Guerrero is an inch taller than JMM thats his only advantage.

              4. He can't draw flies.

              5. Everyone wants to see Pac-Floyd. Providing that can't happen Cotto, Canelo and certainly Martinez are either better equipped (Canelo) if not much better fighters (Cotto, Martinez).

Guerrero is too small for Floyd but he´s a good fighter. Why do people keep saying that Floyd is in another league??? He´s very good and athletic but not the best, look how he won vs Ortiz and wasn´t able to hurt tiny Marquez. Canel Alvarez would give him problems, guaranteed.

NO, we ALL do not feel that way. If Ortiz can get a shot at Mayweather than freaking Guerrero can get a shot at him too. If Clottey can land a Pac fight, then so could Guerrero.......it's not a stretch.

Your responce was nothing more than a flag waving exercise, "Robert is very worthy"?
When his best win to date was against a one dinsional slugger, some 12 pounds south of welterweight. With absolutely NO top class experience at welterweight (or light welter for that matter), and next to nothing in marketability. Why would someone like Mayweather
(a fighter guide by the power of the dollar unlike any other) choose a non starter like Guerrero?
