whos style took more conditioning prime tysons or prime ali's

i personally do tyson style of fighting from the 80's and i gotta say thats the most hardest conditioning fighting style that ive ever done cause your constantly moving. bobbing and weaving constantly and tyson threw almost all power shots. and doing defense most of the time with moving everywhere can be very tiring. buuuut on the other hand ali in the 60's did alot of dancing around the ring for like 15 rounds compared to 12 rounds for tyson and what ali did is almost similar to jogging cause he's always moving everywhere while punching.

When your using the peek-a-boo style, it requires every damn muscle in the body (particularly hips and lower body, which takes up such a percentage of overall body that it drains you quicker). Definately Tyson's took more conditioning.

Tysons did and + Ali didn't really throw a lot of power shots just a lot of quick, sharp jabs that were actually pretty ***** but they ALWAYS landed.

I say Ali because he was the more complete fighter....I don't think Mike ever thought he would be in a real fight for the first half of his career due to his pummling of mediocore oppostiion although not to take anything away from him he was very exciting but fact remains he never could win the really big fights against the guys who were not intimidated by him and were the best of his generation......Lewis,Tyson and Holyfield were obviously the best of the the last 20 years in the HW division and my ranking go as follows....Lewis then Holyfield then Tyson as the best HWs of the last 20 years overall.

Ali's approach was to dance, especially in his prime. The fact that he could do this in his prime for the full fight indicates his superior fitness.

Ali was conditioned to go the distance, while Tyson usually went a couple rounds. My vote would be for Ali.

but do remember tyson kept this style up for 12 rounds also. like juy juy said this style takes all sorta of body movements and moving certain muscles and alot of power shots for 12 rounds. u gotta remember that.

Tyson's style required more conditioning, and that is not a compliment. Boxing is about efficient energy use and despite training like an animal, Tyson was not a good late round fighter.

Joe Louis IMO had the most economical style of any heavyweight. There was no wasted movement.
