Let me put it in a way you can't miss: You're point sucks.

Hearns, Hagler, Leonard, Duran fighting eachother, you're talking about atg's fighting eachother, all fights taking place mostly when they were all top fighters.

Mayweather, Pacquiao, two atg's...fight merely a hall of famer, does not compare to the best 4 welters-mw's fighting eachother in the 80s.

I don't care what your true point is. Just don't even mention Cotto along the lines of atg's ever again, no matter what point you're trying to make.

I rather have Mayweather, Marquez, Pacquiao and Morales all fighting eachother, and then you claiming what you claimed about leftovers.
Merely joking. After reading your post, we can tell who's crying.

Just admit it, you still don't get my point. It has taken you multiple tries and you're just as lost as you were earlier today. What a ****ing dunce.

      Oh man, what a cornball.
Nothing deep about it. You're trying to swim through a puddle. The only thing you've manage to do with all that kicking and flailing is create a scene and make a fool of yourself.

I don't think it would be a bad fight, it's not like Cotto doesn't come to fight, but the outcome would be pretty obvious.

Now How much Credit you'd give him for the win, would depend on how much credit you give Cotto for the Marg win and his run at jmw so far.

I was impressed with the Marg win, but besides that i haven't seen much to tell me he's up for the task.

Canelo beats Cotto right now at 154, Ortiz and Berto beat Cotto at 147. I wouldn't even be surprised if Guerrero makes it competetive before getting stopped by Cotto.

I'm down for Canelo, Berto-Ortiz winner, or Martinez.

If the fight happens, I would 100 percent root for Cotto to win and hopefully retire Floyd. But unfortunately Cotto does not have the tools to beat Floyd, let alone retire him. I will join the Floyd hating parade if this fight happens. Unlike Pacfans, I can not stand any fighter fighting his rivals leftovers, and washed fighters who don't even stand a chance in hell.
What makes you think Canelo is a good fighter? Canelo is a guy who had the championship handed to him. A guy who had trouble with Jose Cotto and Cintron who looked like an amateur. Canelo gets has asss handed to him by Cotto. Margarita right now could beat Canelo. If Ortiz beats Berto again you would rather see Oritz-Floyd fight then a Cotto fight? Ortiz is a fighter with no heart and who is a quiter. Why would you want to see that?

Cotto is relying solely on his boxing to beat people now, and he is not out-boxing Floyd. He won't be able to land anything to the body on Mayweather with any consistency either.

Smart fight for Floyd - zero risk and big financial upside. If you buy it (or Pacquiao/Marquez 4) then don't complain about the megafight not happening because we are all enabling them at this point.

I give FMJ a significant amount of credit if he takes this fight. Cotto is one of the two opponents I wanted to see Floyd take on (Pac being the other, not that interested in Martinez). It's not a prime Cotto by any means, but still a pretty good Cotto. The weight at which the fight will obviously be a consideration too.

Cotto to win a close, but gets robbed on points a la Marquez/Pacquiao.
