Or don't even postpone your jail sentence and just go to jail.

But, Cotto has a fan base and they like anything Cotto does. Floyd has a fan base and they like anything Floyd does. So it is what it is.
So your choices are Pac, if he mans up..Martinez at any weight..or go to jail?!...well we know Pac is ducking..we know Floyds not going to jail until June..and Martinez isnt happening..and at "whatever" weight, Floyd gets no credit for that fight..so I guess with that, youre saying he should fight no one..??

truth is, with your boy ducking..the Cotto fight is the best option right now...sure, Floyd will eat Cotto up..he wouldve ate him up in 07/08..and he defintely eats him up at this stage.

yup. even if it means fighting hatton at light welter while ducking Cotto or margarito 3 years ago bcoz lil ricky hatton called him out. then pull a punk move and retire. now the real threat is martinez and is calling him out but he seem like he doesnt know the guy.

& kirkland is fighting molina & has absolutely no name. he's also no where near as proven as cotto..............you wanna talk about mayweather not getting credit if he were to beat kirkland. (& I'm a big kirkland fan)
Berto and ortiz imo would beat cotto if they ever got the chance to prove it. Too dynamic. Esp. Ortiz with his strong hard hitting southpaw pressure. After kirkland smashes molina he'll be the best 154 pounder and I think the media would recognize that. May vs kirk would sell esp with may's impending jail sentence and kirkland's history among other things.

i don't think berto beats kell brook let alone cotto..........& i think ortiz would wack cotto early on but wouldn't like the blows cotto would land on him.

The only thing that makes Cotto a legit opponent right now is his name and reputation. But, in reality recently he hasn't done much. His last 2 fights were against shot to pieces fighters who were not even top 20 JMW let alone top 10 JMW in Mayorga and Margarito.

I'm happy for him that he beat Margarito, I know he wanted that win really bad. And, it was a redemption win. But, should that be enough to say he's a legit opponent for the likes of Floyd, Pac, and/or Martinez? I don't think so.

Maybe if he beat a Kirkland or a Berto-Ortiz winner or even a Bradley or hell even a Alvarez or JCC JR winner. You know someone in the top 10 of the division. Then I could be OK with such a match up. But, he hasn't done that in what will be 2 years.

But, people hear the name Cotto so they go by reputation and automatically thinks it's OK. I guess.
exactly Floyd usually likes to fight guys who just came off looking good in a win

Cotto has done this, BUT he did it against margarito. margarito has looked horrible in his last 3 fights. Maybe it's because he can't cheat anymore?

Cotto should beat someone with a pulse first. Ideally look good doing it too

he's actually saying mayweather should just go to jail.

(martinez isn't a option as he's TIED UP)

& we all know about the pac & arum story.............

shut the hell up with your righteous talk ...did'nt you also say pac vs jmm 3 was a mismatch?...lol

..and this is a mismatch aswell?..ok, teddy..

this assmuption has no basis at all...cotto got beaten by fighters who are opposite of floyd...pressure fighters, volume punchers and very offensive minded..

this is a very good compettitve fight, based on style, history, and personalies of both...

In fact, he gets no credit for any wins post Castillo. The reason being that since that fight he's been a sorry cherrypicking coward fraud.

You can't win this debate. So don't even try son.

Hey, I'm just stating the facts. Don't matter who he fights. He won't get credit for fighting them.
