this is probly one of the worst comparisons I have seen on here cotto is not 1% of hagler and never will be. marvin is in a diffrent class then cotto.

I've met Brewster and all I can say is that he's not all there, which explains why he would make a comparison like this.

The only thing you could compare Cotto is the guy on an NFL team that catches the kickoff and takes a knee in the endzone for a touchback.

Hagler would never run across the damn ring and take a knee without being hit,Cotto is a good fighter but Hagler was great,ruled his division something Cotto has never done..Hagler was a ****in beast,Cotto is a good little fighter but should never be mentioned with the likes of Hagler

Somebody needs to seriously give Lamon a full checkup cuz dude's lost his mind. Cotto ain't anything like Hagler. He ain't a southpaw. He ain't American(technically). He doesn't have a buncha Italians in his corner. HE FIGHTS GOING BACKWARDS. Hagler never took a backward step. I never seen Cotto in a commercial. Cotto kinda almost mostly partially pretty much but not really but in reality quit against Margarito. The thought woulda never entered Hagler's mind. Hagler had one of the all-time great chins. Cotto's chin has come into question from time to time.

Hagler came up through the rankings the hard way, fighting on the road, getting robbed or having beercans tossed at him. Cotto has had it easy. Coming up on big HBO undercards very early on in his career. When he got beat up a little but still won a couple fights, ie Corley and Torres, they matched him up with guys who couldn't hurt a fly ie Malignaggi and Branco.

Cotto would never on any planet ever ever ever KO Tommy Hearns.

They do both have short haircuts.

So yeah pretty much exactly the same. C'mon Lamon dayum.
