Bob Arum is a complete piece of Sh1@ he is making every fraking excuse NOT to make the Mayweather fight. I do understand why originaly because by using Top Rank fighter he get 40% of the money coming in instead of 20% but after a year and a half of taking home the money enough is enough I am a true Pacquiao fan but I am very very close to boycotting any Pacquaio fight or even Top Rank fight until the fight the world wants to see gets made. I am a boxing fan before anything else so if Pacquaio wont step up and tell his promoter enough is enough then screw him he wont get another dollar from me and neither will Floyd Mayweather Ill just watch them online for free or the next day I can wait for some crap that keeps getting made. they were so quiet when they thought floyd was going to jail..then when they thought he was getting locked up all the sudden all the talks start happening about mannys potential fight..now floyd gets his sentence suspended they go quiet again and all the sudden the cut is an issue??what the hell is goin on here??this is sad as **** man.the world wants this damn fight and Arum is **** blocking to the fullest...how many ****ing excuses will this old turd come up with??

Both sides have their demands! Ben had them for over two years now! Or more! Its near 3 months to train prepare and get all nego out of the way! I can see the time frame being a issue. I agree that Arum is a fool, but I also think a lot of this has to do with the media. They over-report on the bickering between the two sides, they need to tell these guys MAKE THE FIGHT, NO EXCUSES OR WE WILL DRAG YOUR NAME THROUGH THE DIRT. Boxing writers used to be a powerful force in the sport, with the small fanbase of boxing only the boxing writers have the resources to demand these super fights be made. They are only deflecting attention from the issue, which is that we HAVE NO FIGHT at the end of the day. They fall into this blame game nonsense and become pawns of the promoters

I stopped seriously reading about this back and forth nonsense awhile ago because there has been no real, measurable progress. They push and pull, slander one another but I ask are we any closer to a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight than we were six months ago? I believe there are small indications saying "yes we are" but the fight can either be ON or OFF, you can't sign 50% of a contract. This story has not gone anywhere since it BECAME a story back in the dawn of time (2009 was it?) I am so frustrated with this lack of professionalism and organization in our sport, I am past the point of blaming Arum, Manny, Floyd, Oscar or anyone else.

What is the point of finding one man to blame? Is that supposed to make me feel better? We still don't have a fight!

I blame the whole damn system, which has been designed in a way that grants no one the AUTHORITY to force this fight to happen. If floyd and manny say they want to fight and the promoters can't make it work, then they (the promoters) are incompetent and have failed at the task they have taken on.

I know that it is not this simple, but I find myself wishing there was a way that Manny and Floyd could just up and leave their promoters and have this fight independently and keep every dollar for themselves. They could do it on a ship in international waters, off the coast of the phillipines, it would promote itself hahaha
