Man make the damn fight already. I love cotto but fucc him right now. We've waited 5 yrs. BOTH FIGHTERS say they want the fight. The date is set. Sho/hbo can work out the co promo. Of course floyd is gonna call sho #1 its who he fights for what fighter wouldn't? but he has no say in whether they co promo with hbo or not. Lets stop this dumbsht and creating imaginary sht to worry about and make the fight already. We keep pointing fingers when nobody has even sat at the table yet.
Arum talked to cbs, manny for once didnt say "talk to my promoter" he called out floyd directly , Floyd didnt say i need to talk to my team. He called manny out directly. Even set a date, the same damn date he always fights on. There is no and should be no problems. If these two agree to the date MOVE THE COTTO FIGHT. This is the biggest fight in the world. People in here are creating their own excuses like they dont wanna see this fight or something?! If Arum doesnt come to the table bc of a fight date that he already knew would most likely be the fight date that floyd would choose. Then blame arum AND pac. If pac gets offered an abysmal 20% or some craziness that floyd wont budge from, then blame haymon and floyd.Comment

um,,,,, have you listened to any commentary that showtime does. they have recently gone all out in talking about a floyd/manny....
its obvious that showtime is willing to work with HBO, otherwise they wouldn't be having jim gray hound floyd in post fight interview about manny after the madiana rematch..
Its also been reported by every major news source that showtime/cbs is willing to work with HBO i.e. espn, yahoo, etc
You floydiots just grasp at straws... Any unbiased fan can see that everyone is willing to work together to make this fight happen, but then floyd says it has to be a showtime only fight......

Ummm, Not a Floyd fan here.
But lets be real, why is it always a issue with May fight date?
Last time in 2012 it was that Manny didn't want to fight on May 5th because his cut hadn't healed, but now it's a issue to fight on May 2nd???
Just f'ing fight and get it over with, like Canelo VS Cotto can't go in June or July and sell just the same.
If Hispanics are gonna order it, they are gonna order it, period.
Another thing is Arum really knows how to get under Floyds skin, he knows Floyd acts like a Diva and will demand a specific date.

I could conversely say "when did showtime say they wouldn't work with HBO" when did showtime ever say that, or ever been reported to say that?????
I can't believe some of these posters can be in such denial, or just plain ******..
Everyone and their momma knows this has to be a co promotion between HBO and Showtime for this fight to happen..
Everyone is on board, and then floyd comes out on showtime and declares it has to be showtime only, effectively killing the potential fight.. Yet floydiots are in such denial or so ******, they believe its not a roadblock....
