How can Arum get networks to work if his simply says no on the date because of a moronic excuse. Please dude. Arum has done this before when Floyd called them out for May 5 2012 and Arum keep moving the avaulable dates for Manny.

"The fact is, he doesn't want to do the fight. Look what happened. When Pacquiao fought his last fight, we said Mayweather was going to fight on May 5, and Arum said pacquiao wasn't going to be available, it would have to be in June.
Then, when it looked like Mayweather wasn't going to be available in May, suddenly, Pacquiao was going to fight in May. And now, suddenly, Mayweather is going to fight in May, guess what? Pacquiao isn't available until June."

If what you say is true and Floyd is showtimes bytch, then this fight will be made for May...
Arum and hbo and showtime and manny want this fight badly as they have seen manny's drawing power shrink, and Floyd isn't drawing blockbuster numbers for showtime... Everyone knows this is the biggest money fight ever, and is badly needed for everyone involved except floyd because he has his fat showtime contract... But showtime desperately wants to make this fight to recoup some of the floyd investment.. So if your right, and floyd isn't ducking, then this fight will be May 2nd

Floyd hasn't wavered in anything,, so why would he waiver on this...

Come' on and think about it- if floyd really wanted to make this fight, he would have called out manny hard on his showtime interview and tried to get the hype going, like every other fighter does with potential opponents, but instead floyd puts up roadblocks.. That's the truth...
Floyd and his team wavered in the first negotiation on purse split(50/50) and drug testing(14 day cut off which Arum stated he never took to Manny). Honestly, would you want Arum involved? Espinoza tweeted less than a month ago that Arum turned down 40 million and 35% of the PPV deal. Do you think Espinoza was lying? Lastly, if another man has been talking *****e after there last fight about a fight needing to get made and FMJ states he wants the fight, then what is the problem? Like I said, either Arum wants to make the fight or he does not. From his statements over the past week, I would say no. But we will see.

Floyd could have called out manny hard on showtime this past weekend but he chose to put up roadblocks.. Floyd needed to go all "Shannon Briggs trolling" style on manny... He needed to do a great pro wrestling style interview calling out manny, and then following up by making the fight.. Instead floyd gave road blocking demands..
Remember the smack that floyd talked about Corrales and Oscar before ey signed to fight.. That's the floyd that needed to show up in that showtime interview
but still its been 5 years. at this point a lot of people want an official announcement that both fighters signed the contract

I'm not talking about the past... Both camps share the blame over the years, but at this very moment, the ball is in Floyd's hands and everyone involved is out of big name fights except for each other

That's a ducking tactic, and against the wishes of his employer showtime
I am sorry, I do not see FMJ's statement as a hindrance to making the fight. The network negotiation will be worked out by Espinoza. And that is who should work it out. In my opinion, Arum is trying to get as much money in his pocket as possible in this negotiation or he just does not want the fight. There is not any in between.

Truthfully it is in Arums hands and unfortunately has always been in Arum's hands. I have always believed Manny, Roach, and the Mayweathers(all of them) have wanted the fight.

"I didn't manage anything [between HBO and Showtime]. All I said was that I had been contacted, the two networks have spoken and agreed 100% of how they would do jointly this fight. It was a legal situation. Floyd couldn't fight on HBO even if he wanted to because he's under contract with Showtime. And Manny is in a similar way through us," Arum told The Daily Telegraph from his Top Rank Inc. office here in Las Vegas.

You see Floyd can't tell Showtime or say that he can work with HBo because Floyd is undercontract with Showtime and can't make any comments for legal reason to hint any kind of agreement with Hbo that he doesn't have rights and autherity to say so ofcourse Floyd is going to say sure but it will have to be on Showtime because his not legally able to negotiate for Showtime or make any kind of Deal with HBo with out Showtimes approval. Bob's only excuse is that its disrespectful to Mexican. That's Bobs only way out cause the Networks are willing to work and they contacted him so its not like he contacted them. The networks are approaching him, Floyd is calling him and Manny out, but Arum excuse is no because its disrespectful to Mexican's

If this was the earlier negotiations, I wouldn't make an issue out of Floyd's statement, but when it's been five years, both guys are all out of marquee PPv worthy names ie mosely, Oscar, hatton, canelo, cotto, Marquez, and Floyd is making statements like these with all the crap over the last five years it hardly seems he wants to make this fight now...

Both sides have milked all the possible money they can ie algieri, rios, Bradley 2, Ortiz, ghost, etc...

Floyd can't make an hbo fight without showtimes permission... True...
But showtime is giving permission, and wants to do a co promotion with HBO, and Floyd would be allowed to do so, but Floyd has to sign off as well and he ain't... Even though showtime wants him to...

Like I said,, if your right and showtime is the boss, then this fight either gets made in May, or floyd does another retirement
