Did floyd waiver over any of the other roadblocks ie drug testing, no PPv money, no arum, and now no hbo..
Floyd hasn't wavered in anything,, so why would he waiver on this...
Come' on and think about it- if floyd really wanted to make this fight, he would have called out manny hard on his showtime interview and tried to get the hype going, like every other fighter does with potential opponents, but instead floyd puts up roadblocks.. That's the truth...

But in your scenario, floyd would have to agree to work with HBO, and he clearly stated in his showtime interview that he doesn't want hbo in the deal even though it won't effect his paycheck and would probably increase his paycheck because he would have the hbo hype machine behind him again...
Floyd hasn't agreed to anything, and seems content not to agree...
No HBO is an obvious deal breaker, and Floyd knows it, that is why he is playing the showtime only card, and floydiots defend it...

It was a roadblock duck, when Floyd made that recent statement about it being a showtime only PPv. It doesn't effect his paycheck, so why would he care.. It's an obvious duck tactic
"The fact is, he doesn't want to do the fight. Look what happened. When Pacquiao fought his last fight, we said Mayweather was going to fight on May 5, and Arum said pacquiao wasn't going to be available, it would have to be in June.
Then, when it looked like Mayweather wasn't going to be available in May, suddenly, Pacquiao was going to fight in May. And now, suddenly, Mayweather is going to fight in May, guess what? Pacquiao isn't available until June." -Richard Schaefer

The only way there will be hype is when both fighters signs the contract

His ideal scenario is floyd-manny cinco of May, and cotto-canelo in June PR weekend in New York..
Arum knows that canelo wants to fight on cinco, so he is just trying to play nice with camp canelo..

Next, I do not agree that FMJ wanting the PPV on Showtime would be a breaking point for negotiations. Sorry, I cannot agree with that point or see how that is ducking. That part should be a part of negotiations but not a breaking point. And if that is a breaking point, then the fight was never going to get made because Bob would have promised something ridiculous to HBO that of course could not have been attained. If you are the "A side(FMJ/Showtime/CBS)", then the "B side(HBO/Time Warner)" fighters network is always going to get 2nd billing in that part of the negotiation. Unfortunately, that statement from FMJ probably gives some details about what has been going on behind the scenes just like his statement about the money split in his interview. It will all come out if the fight does not get made.

Floyd could have called out manny hard on showtime this past weekend but he chose to put up roadblocks.. Floyd needed to go all "Shannon Briggs trolling" style on manny... He needed to do a great pro wrestling style interview calling out manny, and then following up by making the fight.. Instead floyd gave road blocking demands..
Remember the smack that floyd talked about Corrales and Oscar before ey signed to fight.. That's the floyd that needed to show up in that showtime interview

Facts are that manny is attached to hbo,,, they are part of the deal, showtime knows this and is fine with it.. Willing to work together to make fight happen, yet floyd is the onl one saying it has to be showtime only, even though it has no effect on his paycheck
That's a ducking tactic, and against the wishes of his employer showtime
