But the problem is Arum stating FMJ or any other non-Mexican fighter is being disrespectful for fighting on May 2nd because that is a Mexican holiday.

Um,,, showtime/cbs said they don't care if they gotta work with HBO.. It's no big deal..

So why is floyd worried about it, and demanding it?

"Because he is contracted to the company that says they want to work with HBO"
That's your answer basically... Lmao... You floydiots grasping at straws...

Who said it? The guy who is no longer part of GB. Now GB and TR are no longer feuding and fights are starting to progress between their fighters. Let that sink in for a minute.

So FMJ should not rep the network he fights on? How is that a issue? You do not think that will be negotiated. I am of the opinion that either Arum wants to make the fight or he does not. Tyson VS Lewis proved that the networks will work together. You are writing like that would be the straw that breaks the camels back. I do not see that.

There will be people who go to the grave believing pro wrestling is real, if sold properly people will believe if they want to it is that simple.

He can rep it,, that's fine...

But don't say "it has to be a showtime PPv" when showtime itself is saying it wants to work with HBO...

It's a non issue, but floyd is making it an issue...

You didn't see tyson saying "it has to be a showtime PPv only" when fighting lennox, now did you

Exactly. Floyd does't own Showtime. If Showtime wants to work a deal Floyd won't care as long as he gets his cut. Like you said, Floyd is just backing the network he fights on and doesn't have a say what Showtime wants to do with their money or how they operate. Arum on the other hand just says no because his new excuse is its disrespectful to Mexicans. If Arum would drop the BS ducking, the networks would be typing up them contracts and getting them pens polished. Arum don't want it for Packie. Arum hoping to get Canelo his date so he can save Packies rep from looking like a duck.

But Floyd does care,,, I wish what you were posting was reality, and floyd didn't care what deal showtime cut, but I'm reality, he just said it has to be showtime only, and no hbo,, which showtime would be opposed to because they are smart enough to realize it would be impossible to do without hbo..

It was a roadblock duck, when Floyd made that recent statement about it being a showtime only PPv. It doesn't effect his paycheck, so why would he care.. It's an obvious duck tactic

So you think the fight would not get made because FMJ made a statement about the fight having to be on Showtime PPV?

                  • If everything gets agreed upon, and then Arum then says he wants the fight to happen on another date, then how is it not Arums fault?

                      Yeah I do...

Floyd is his own boss remember...

Did floyd waiver over any of the other roadblocks ie drug testing, no PPv money, no arum, and now no hbo..

Floyd hasn't wavered in anything,, so why would he waiver on this...

Come' on and think about it- if floyd really wanted to make this fight, he would have called out manny hard on his showtime interview and tried to get the hype going, like every other fighter does with potential opponents, but instead floyd puts up roadblocks.. That's the truth...
