Who is going to promote Chris Byrd now?

No offence, the guy's got talent, but I can't imagine a string of promoters rushing to take the job.

The UK Trade Paper Boxing News - often critical of Don King - actually stuck up for him last time when Chris was bitching about his "I should be getting $2 mil per fight" routine. It said to be fair to King, he can't help that Byrd stinks the joint out and no one wants to pay to see him.

He's a good technician but box office suicide... so is he going into self-promotion?

Thats a good question. Too be honest I don't really see anyone promoting Chris at this point, it just doesn't make sense to do so.
