Unless he learns how to fight on the inside, then yes.

Trust me he has hardly lost any. Its only those who are die hard boxing fans or actually know a thing or two about boxing that have chosen not to be his fan. Almost all of Khans fans are proper casual fans. 99% of people i know who support Khan don't know **** about boxing and couldn't care less what he's like. they just seem to follow the crowd.

Mind you if you include those 'fans' who just like watching him because he's exciting etc, there will always be them even those who dislike him

A lot of boxing die hards are losing respect for the guy. I mean with this mystery man thing he might finally have a bit of credibility but his constant moaning and whining and his claims that he has everything to be the P4P best have alienated him among st some boxing fan circles.

To be honest Khan keeps talking about moving up to 147, the guy doesn't have the power to hurt anyone at 147 cause he doesn't sit down on his shots. He throws his pitty-patty amateur style shots which won't have much effect on the bigger guys, he can't deal with pressure fighters and he can't fight on the inside. Plus Khan has no boxing IQ. His whole complaint about Peterson coming in with his head low; well why not step back and throw the uppercut?

I was fan of Khan up until he joined GBP and he became this ****y arrogant little gob****e.

But one thing that can work in his favour he does seem to get himself involved in exciting fights, which will always help.

Also ruined by Khan's (or Oscar's) failure to insert a rematch clause. If they had one, the robbery would not have been such a big deal. Poor business on their part.

I agree with this. Imo he needs to be a career 140lber.

The only champ or 'name' he matches up well with stylistically at 147lbs is Mayweather as Floyd doesn't have the power to KO him and isn't an inside or pressure fighter, also Khan has greater handspeed. Not saying he wins, but it's a good fight.

It was a mandatory fight which meant GBP could not stick in a rematch clause. When Peterson was originally offered the fight around the time of the McCloskey negotiations Team Khan stuck in the rematch clause stipulating that in the event Peterson won he would get the same money in the rematch around $300,000. That was the deal breaker. Peterson held out to position himself as mandatory and got paid $350,000 more with no derisory rematch price stipulation. In short he got more money in one fight than he would have in two. At the time he was being slandered for being greedy and pricing himself out of a fight.

I was a fan until the post-fight b*tchfest began. The fight was a fair result, Amir Khan and Golden Boy Promotions are a bunch of cowards, and they made it clear with their lobbying to get a corrupt decision in their favour. If things pan out were a rematch is demanded and Lamont Peterson has to go to Las Vegas and get screwed out, then, well, I will probably become a hater.

Well, doubt he has Mexican fans. Mehikans like Macho boxers.

Unfortunately, it was ruined by either a biased referee or a referee unfit for championship boxing. When multiple experienced referee's are claiming that they wouldnt have deducted points says it all. Amir no doubt should have done more, not allowing the judges to decide the fight and could have stopped Peterson if he listened to the corner. Either way, a lot of fans said the main reason Peterson got the decision is because of Khan's 'running'. Khan landed more punches in the fight and got robbed of a knockdown. I kow people say that landing more punches doesnt win you the fight but if that was the case then why didnt Hopkins get the decision against Calzaghe? Whatever the case, due to the fight being as close as it was then Peterson by pure sportmanship should look at a Khan rematch before any other opponent. He is too one dimensional for Pacquiao, and Bradley's style is too much of a mismatch for him. Fight Khan again in vegas or canada and prove you won of merit no from a gift from the referee!
Maquez' and Cotto's alias' aren't Manuel and Angel. That's their names.
