I think we've arrived at the point of this game of illusions where reality can no longer be denied. Let me rephrase that, it can be, it'll just take the average Pacquiao fanatic longer to twist logic in on itself to find interesting and creative ways to blame Floyd Mayweather for the fight not happening.

The magician has pulled all of the cards out of his sleeves and he's all of slight of hand. Now the crucial part comes in, now we must face the fact that what we've been looking at was a trick all along, a puff of smoke staged to distract us while a crafty promoter created the fighter of the decade.

Mayweather made it easy for Arum to conjure his apparitions, because after all, Floyd is the villain with a big mouth, therefore he has to be lying.

since 2009, pac has fought only twice a year; 3 in november, twice in may, and one in march. his last fight was in november, if you haven't followed the pattern, it would only be ideal if his next fight will be in or around early may, right?

so bob, what exactly is the problem? i'm willing to dismiss this talk about a stadium and cuts as mere speculation. i'm sure manny is willing to battle on may 5th with floyd (if he really wants this fight) it's an accommodating date for him, considering his other obligations. i have a strong feeling pacquiao will make this duck official though because we're not exactly 100% sure whether drug testing is still an issue or not.

I see some people trying to defend Pac, saying its all Arum's doing. That poor little Emanuelita Pacquaio has nothing to with it. Well like the saying goes "You are judged by the company you keep".

Pac is presented his options by Arum, Pac has the right to choose whichever option he wants, or else they wouldn't be presented to him in the first place. Pacquiao picks the worst opponents he can pick. Let's stop the "its Arum's fault" bull****. It's Pacquiao's fault this fight has not happened. He is perfectly happy fighting these B and C fighters and fighters who have seen better days.

I don't care about this fight anymore. It's garbage. I hope both guys lose their next fight. Nothing would make me happier. It's obvious now both guys have wasted out time. Mayweather before and Pac/Arum now. If Pac cares at all he'll take the fight now. It's so obious at this point that TR wants nothing to do with Mayweather because he'll beat Pac.

If Pac fights Peterson I'm done buying any of his fights. Speaking from a guy who has bought nearly every PPV since the third Morales fight.

Explain how Pacquiao " walking away from the table " and refusing to undertake random blood tests without a 24-day cutoff..... is somehow Mayweather's fault?

Pacquiao is apparently happy to undertake full testing now, so how was his bizarre refusal back in Dec 2009 attributable to Mayweather?

Unless... you cant be talking about the " second " negotiations, surely ?

so funny how Pac was able to fight on May 5 a couple of days ago, but now he cant. Arum is so full of it, its funny that some peopl on this site actually believe a word that comes ou of his mouth

On July 16th 2010, Bob Arum publicly stated that a deadline which he had placed on a deal that he had personally negotiated with GBP was about to expire.....

The very next day, on July 17th..... Bob Arum publicly stated that he had NEVER spoken with anyone from GBP.

The thing is..... Bob Arum has been doing this for 40 years.
