the man was not sanctioned to be even watching the fight at ring side, he lied to get close and then got closer and did something dodgy with the judges which all can see

how on earth did the ibf allow an unsanctioned official to break the rules of boxing like this

not only is he seen taking the main scorecard but is also seen distracting 1 of the judges and then handing them all papers

this is nothing but a huge scandal

I don't think any of us here have done a study on judges in fights and the rules they have to abide by to really know how unusual this is. I am pretty sure that this has happened before and there would have been no big deal made of this by the Peterson camp had Khan won. The official signed in therefore it was known about by the organisers and it should have been up to them to do something about it. It seems odd to me that there is a signing in process if the judges have to be left alone.

Guys, I've been calling Khan crying to losing a close fight for weeks now, like many given the immediate out cry.

BUT, I challenge anyone to stop making rash comments and watch this video.

That footage is of a seriously dodgey nature, with someone not allowed to be even near the judges, talking to them, leaning and touching they're scorecards. That combined with that scorecard having 10-8 switched round in Petersons favour being the pure swing in the result, is extremely dodgey.

Everytime there's a close decision loss with some controversy in Germany, there's complaints all over this forum.

Let's actually re-assess this purely from a boxing perspective.

This is some of the most clear factual proof of dubious ness happening with scorecards seen in a long time.

It's ridiculously unfair and hypocritical to ignore that.

I've been willing to go against Khan and change my view on merit on FACTUAL evidence.

So the guy is and IBF official of some sort..yet he was not sanctioned to be ringside, and certainly had no right to be sat where he was and handling the score-cards ect.

The whole thing looks very fishy, but even if it turns out this guy had no influence on occurings that night at all..he shouldn't of been there and Khan's team have every right to seek answers.

Its going to be interesting to hear what the IBF have to say when they make their statement.

If the IBF don't sanction a rematch then the WBA can refuse to recognise Peterson as their champion and re-instate Khan as the WBA champion.

Yeah I thought so, I meant Khan then wouldn't be the unified champion that way.

Amir Khan has himself to blame, he didn't fight the way he could of, he got sloppy on the inside and couldn't find any range. He let a massive underdog make the fight close, all this bull**** from the Khan team, have completely mired and overshadowed a truly incredible achievement of a young man becoming a boxing unified world champion and a excellent on the night performance of Lamont Peterson.

If I was Lamont and his team, I wouldn't fight Khan again, because from the moment the bell rang and Khan lost his titles, he has needed someone to blame, the ref, the scorecards(which round 7 was 100 fine, only idiots don't see why...), man in a hat, next it will be because somebody forgot to give him a second pillow at the hotel, they have made a mockery of boxing with this commotion, they should have dealt with it behind the scenes, and gone public when they had official judgement, opposed to updating people on a social network site...... Amir Khan next for celebrity Big Brother so he can join the other mindless idiots in the UK.
