I strongly believe that Ortiz was intimidated by Floyd. Yes, Ill say it. He was intimidated by him. Add the frustration on Ortiz being unable to reach FJMr. with authority, let to the crappy ending of the fight.

Cotto - FMJr. will be a great fight. I can see it easily going to the cards but I belive that Miguel could KO FMJr.

So if its Cotto then Floyd is fighting Pac's leftover ... Personally I dont have a problem with it..One or 2 loses doesnt make a fighter suddenly shot especially if its coming from defeat against a top level fighter..

I just find funny, how you *****s jumped on the Cotto bandwagon so quickly considering the bull**** that you have posted about fighting fighters who have been previously defeated.. And in Cotto's case beaten to a pulp by Pac himself..

Nope, I have always said that Manny hasn't fought a legit fight since Hatton and Cotto in 2009. Yes, I said Hatton and Cotto were not prime when Manny fought them in 2009, but they were still good. Past their prime-still good. I think Cotto is basically the same guy he was in 2009, only at 154 lbs instead of 147.

Look at Cotto in 2006-2007 and than look at how he was in 2009. He wasn't quit ethe same prime guy but he was still good, and Manny gets his due for that win, I just think it's a little overrated considering that Cotto had looked like dog s**t against Clottey prior to that fight and had been KO'd by Margarito. But, look at Cotto in 2009 and in 2011, he's pretty much the exact same guy. As long as Pacquiao or Floyd fought him at 154 lbs, that's a B+ fight to me. He's still good, coming off some decent wins since Pac TKO'd him, it's a legit fight at 154 lbs.

In a reference to the leftover comment, here's been my take on it. I have only ever brought that up when Pacquiao fans want to give Manny more credit for his wins over De La Hoya, Hatton, and Mosley, and than bash Floyd for those wins. How can Manny get more credit for those wins than Floyd, who beat them first??? If Floyd fights Cotto, I will say the same thing, only vice-versa.

Yes, Manny gets credit for beating a past prime-still good Hatton, and because he did it at 140 lbs, but Floyd still gets more credit for beating a prime Hatton, who was unbeaten-top 10 P4P, and for doing it first. Yes, Manny gets some credit for beating past prime versions of De La Hoya and Mosley, but Floyd gets more credit for beating past prime versions of both guys, because he beat De La Hoya first and at 154 (not 145) and for beating Mosley when Shane had just KO'd Margarito and was seen as one of the top 2 or 3 WW at the time.

So, if Floyd fights Cotto, Manny gets more credit. Manny beat a past prime-still good Cotto first, where as Floyd would have beaten a past prime-still good Cotto 2 1/2 years after Manny. But, Floyd still would get credit for beating Cotto at 154, just like Manny got credit for beating Ricky Hatton.

Floyd would knock Cotto out. Cotto hasn't impressed me since Clottey. Fair enough, good try against Pacquiao but since then, he's been fighting bums or boxers with something inherently wrong with them:

            - Yuri Foreman (give me a break, this guy injured himself and was never really any good)
            - Ricardo Mayorga (way past his prime)
            - Antonio Margarito (As if Margarito was going to beat Cotto...Margarito is already a dead man way before Pacquiao destroyed him). He's a walking target.

To me, he gets little credit for beating Oscar at a 145 lb CW. Oscar hadn't fought around that weight in 7-8 years. Beating Mosley, he gets some credit, but not a whole lot. At least Floyd did it when Shane had just KO'd Mayorga and Margarito, where as Pac beat him after losing to Floyd and a draw with Mora.

But, Hatton and Cotto, Manny gets his due for those. Hatton and Cotto were both past their prime-still good. Hatton was at 140 lbs, so Manny gets his due there, it's just that Floyd should get more credit for that. He gets his due for Cotto as well, and if Floyd fights Cotto at 154 lbs, Floyd gets his due, but Manny gets more credit to me, because he did first.
