i'm not really a khan fan but he may be on to something. i re-watched the fight from the 6th round on and the judge in the red tie is not even watching the fight cause the guy beside him is talkin to him and they are both lookin down at the score card almost the whole time

EDIT: the guy in the red tie was not a judge, he was a WBA official and the other guy was an IBF official

according to boxrec these were the officials present at the fight.
referee: Joseph Cooper | judge: Nelson Vazquez 115-110 | judge: George Hill 112-113 | judge: Valerie Dorsett 112-113 WBA Super World light welterweight title (supervisor: Michael Welsh) IBF light welterweight title (supervisor: Paul Artisst
i have bolded the IBF guy since the article says the mysterious guy presented himself as an IBF official.
so is that him on the footage?

Ffs. Like him or hate him. Khan has a right to be concerned about this mystery man. We all ought be interested in this as boxing fans sick of biased decisions or appearance of it.

Amir Khan is a C Class fighter. He needs to keep his mouth shut. He lost. Get over it.

all of the above have nothing to do with khan vs peterson, there might have been someone cheating?might not?

we need to know the truth, simply as that
I was just bringing up other irregularities I've seen in Khan fights. Its not that McCloskey was winning or going to win...but the doctor did something that was out of the norm that's all. The ruling of the cut in Barerra was convenient but prob doesn't change the overall outcome..but does that make it right? McCloskey had won a couple of his previous fight by late Ko and MAB is MAB anything can happen. Anyway, Ur right though, irrelevant to the Peterson fight.

I want transparency too of course...but as long as Khan realizes this hat guy could have just as easily been there to help him on the cards, then investigate away. Only because he wasn't given the call are we to automatically assume this mystery guy was there to help Peterson somehow....he probably never acknowledges this if given the nod. Regardless, anything is possible and if they are going to investigate let them...maybe someone will end up suspended but I don't think the win/loss will ever, ever be changed. Just hopinh amir focuses on the boxing thing instead of this stuff tho because this should just b a learning experience in the grand scheme of his career. Its not a catastrophic loss, it was a good fight ppl will remember

Great Link, it shows pics of what Amir is describing.

He was probably just an asistant supervisor, people look in to things too much, if they was going to do something fishy, they wouldn't be doing front row right in front of the cameras lol.

Corruption is done prior to the fights, not during.

my think is how many ppl actually believe that they were conspiring against khan? how ****** would that be? he makes them more moeny than peterson does and its not even close. if anything, i bet the guy was trying to fix the cards in khans favor. ud have to be ****** if u thought any of the commissions would gain anything for siding with khan over peterson.
