To me anyway, home town fighters do seem to get the bias, and at worse neutral judging.
I am not sure how the judges work, who for etc.. but I suspect they are picked from the state of the area. Now, at least in my eyes, if the hometown fighter wins, he will likely have a few fights in his hometown, which makes money for that area at least boxing wise.
For example if Marg didn't get to fight in NY, another state may have picked it up, like how Califronia allowed him to fight but LV said no.
The difference is, in DC it was 20 years for a title fight. If Peterson won then it would be better for them.
If the judges were with the IBF, WBA then that is a different matter and my point isn't valid. However I doubt it.
Khan has been crying I agree, but if what he said is true that the judges weren't even watching some parts of some rounds, that is ****ed up. In close rounds, whcih they did have, you can't look away.
