Cloud is awesome I've been a huge fan of his for a long time but I think stylistically speaking, Cloud is an easier fight for the old man than say Chad Dawson is.

Cloud struggles against movement, in particular lateral movement. He was struggling against Mack for a while before he caught Mack slipping with his hands down against the ropes that KO'd him.

Bernard has GREAT lateral movement when he wants to (see kelly pavlik, etc.).

Movement like that forces Cloud to punch a whole lot less than he does in his other fights, which is exactly what Hopkins would want to do - to slow down the pace. Add to that he's open to get hit, and I think the old man has enough trickery to beat the young hungry lion.

You are exactly right about the Cloud fight I think, its a stylistic mismatch as Cloud has trouble with lateral movement and being hit with counters while B-hop has great footwork and is a great counter puncher.

Cloud would eat over hand rights and left hooks all night and would possibly be stopped late.
