Why will the WBA not strip Felix Sturm?

Felix Sturm, who inexplicably was declared WBA Super Champion many months ago, has been avoiding his mandatory Gennady Golovkin for over two years now.

I see the WBA just stripped Super Champion Juan Manuel Marquez, who has been fighting top opposition.

Why will they not strip Felix Sturm, who has been fighting mostly soft opponents like Hearns and Murray, if he continues to avoid Golovkin?

Because the WBA is just as corrupt as the WBC.

Sturm shouldn't even be the WBA Champion anymore. Macklin beat him clearly although I think Sturm had an off night and could have beaten him had he fought harder.
