Damn good read. Kirkland definitely isn't taking anything for granted. But yeah Floyd is going be alright.Comment

Obviously Kirkland's advice would be more meaningful if Floyd were looking at a real stretch of time but as it is; his comments seem to be wasted on Mayweather. Floyd isn’t in a position to learn anything or grow from this situation, it's been perfectly tailored for the wealthy narcissist and the perpetually aggrieved.
So let's just move along, nothing to see here until Mayweather's next opponent is announced.Comment

Yeah I know what you mean.
Kirkland seems like an honest guy who has really learned from his mistakes. I hope he is successful against Molina.Comment

3 months is alot of time for a boxer. its a long time to be away from sparring, hitting the pads, speedbag, double end bag and all that. it can no doubt have an effect on a fighters reflexes, timing and overall sharpness. a fighter thats so technical could struggle to get his groove back at floyds age.
3 months is also a long time to be away from your kids and lets not forget that floyd probably shouldnt be going to jail in the first place, something which can create anger in a person. anger is never good for a fighter, you want to be calm and collected, especially a defensive fighter like floyd.
still, floyd is experienced in the ring and in life so im sure he will find a way to overcome this set back. i dont expect him to join any prison gangs thats for sure lol.Comment
