Super bantamweight contender Genaro Garcia (36-8, 20KOs) is hoping to bounce back and get his career in order. The 34-year-old Mexican fighter has been inactive since getting stopped by Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. in seven round in November 2009. Prior to that, he challenged champion Toshioki Nishioka and also got stopped in that contest. He returns on Saturday in Tlalnepantla, Mexico, against Jesus Santillan (4-8, 3 KOs).
