Injury may help sturm in the long run

Cause by the time he is ready to fight, arthur abraham could be the IBF champ and it would be much easier to get a fight with him then go through don kings crap cause he promotes masseo, with 1-2 tune ups to shake off ring rust he can get a major belt back and try again to fight in america and hopfully not robbed again

The only question is if he can beat Arthur Abraham if he becomes the IBF champ. There is also another problem that Winky will be mandatory so he will get a chance before Sturm and there are quite a lot of good names around middleweight that may get a chance before Sturm if Sturm doesn't stay active.

The way I see it there are three middleweights that matter right now, and Sturm doesn't have a shot at beating a damn one of them.

I agree with this assuming we are talking about the same MWs which I think we are.....

BIG SURPRISE: another fan of a Euro fighter, trying to justify a phony injury

Sturm is a joke, he's only top-5 material based on a loss to one of the best fighters in the world (remind you of anyone, Quitschko fans???)....the guy has a pretty face & a jab, just like David Tua had a haircut & a left hook, having only 2 positive attributes will NEVER make you a world champion

I like Sturm and would love to see more of him...

            But...

How long can Felix Sturm bask in the sun of his controversial loss to Oscar?

I dont think anyone considers Oscar a real threat at middleweight and I dont think anyone would pick against Oscar if he was in top shape against Sturm. (Keep in mind Oscar was as out of shape as we have ever seen him-if you want to be real about it)

So, Team Sturm needs to heal themselves and then pick up the pace because the Oscar fight can only linger so long!

GREAT POINT, and it's funny to say this, but you're 100% accurate about how Team Sturm can't hold onto the "glory" of the Oscar loss for much longer, because most of the sports public now knows Oscar for signing Bernard to a contract after the KO loss, & most casual fans have forgotten about the Sturm fight

imagine, basking in the "glory" of a LOSS for 3-4 years, it's amazing what Euro fighters will do for respect in the USA

If you're not fighting in America, there is only one reason: YOU ARE SCARED

If you want to fight in the States, you fight in the States. It's that simple.
