I was reading an article or 2 about how Pac has been "straying" away from Ariza's strenuous workout routine, because it's difficult and he makes Pac work really hard.
Pac said that Ariza was right after his 3rd fight with JMM, Pac said he was disappointed with his performance, and that was why. He said he will go back to Ariza's rigorous training methods, and admitted it was wrong for him to slack off.
Pac never complained of leg cramps before he started slacking off. That's just want i read here and there. Don't know how much truth there is in it, but it sounds legit. Could be Pac is just getting older and time is taking it's toll.
But I'm expecting to see a more energized, "bouncy" Pac, using his strong legs for lateral movement, always turning his opponents and hitting them from all angels, if he does go back to Arizas training methods.Comment

Ariza is doing a great job and the only reason why JMM and Mosley made it to the final bell is because they were in full on survival mode since the first round and ran like a lil b*tch
Pac should hire me tho cuz I would make the Pac-Floyd fight happen by pissing floyd off so much that he doesn't have a choice but fight PacComment

Pac can fire and hire whoever he wants, he is done now and he knows it. If he fights JMM again somewhere besides LV and the Phillippines, he loses (officially this time, he actually has lost twice against JMM already in reality). If he fights Floyd, he loses, if he fights Bradley, he loses. In fact, the only person he can fight and win against next is Morales, Cotto or Maidana, shot and/or slow, just how he likes them. That is why there is this air of mystery and delay in this decision making...Pac's camp has their backs against the wall. They have fought all the old, shot and slow guys out there...so now they are screwed. Pac's career is dwindling down. Lamont is not too quick so I could see them maybe picking him...but that may still be a tough fight. Let's see what magic Arum conjures up to make sure Pac does not lose his next fight. At this point, no one is allowed to win a decision over Pac so all he has to do is not get knocked out and he will continue to win.Comment

He should. Or have him hired as a Co-Conditioning Guru. Conte probably has the science down much better than Ariza, on how to overcome the cramps that Pacquiao has been having.
Hell I watched a good interview with him, on how there is a false notion that a Fighter needs to train 6 to 7 days per week. And instead recommended training 3 days straight, with one day rest, and having much better effects/results than being a workhorse every day.Comment
