I got Rubio over Chavez Jr by KO, since by decision Chavez Jr is always going to win, even if he gets dominated for 12 rounds. I still don't see that "good chin" Chavez Jr has since he hasn't faced anyone with decent power. Most guys who say he has a "good chin" do it because he received a lot of punches from Zbik, but Zbik has no punching power so it's not a good indication to show if he has or not a good chin. Also he got hit a few times against Manfredo but then again Manfredo isn't a hard puncher so that doesn't prove anything.
Rubio has improved a lot IMO since his defeat against Pavlik, and after his win against Lemieux he realized that he could become a world champion by continuing training hard. Also for the first time we're going to see Jr against someone his own size, since Rubio is also a big MW and is not going to give that much of a weight advantage against Jr.
About Donaire vs Vasquez, I don't think there's a lot to say about this one, Donaire should easily beat Vasquez since he's a lot taller and is going to have some good weight advantage. Also he's the better boxer, but with the weight difference I don't see WV2 beating Nonito.
This is going to be a good card, and might take the 5 hour drive down to San Antonio for this one. It's going to be a lively crowd. Filipinos, Puerto Ricans and of course Mexicans will rock the house!
