147 hasn't been much for many years now, wake up. Once Delahoya, Whitiker, Trinidad, Quartey, Carr, etc. left the division the welterweight division sucks. They at least has some tough contenders in the mix.

Just about every division has a similar formula. A couple of big names, dominant fighter or two, top level champions, sub par contenders/trail horses, old/should be retired names, and possible entrants.

I wouldn't say the WW's suck. There's a lot of potential with young fighters like Berto, Ortiz, Alexander, Bradley, Maidana, Brook, Jones, Khan possibly, Peterson possibly. That's 9 fighters in one weight class in their prime, still young and with talent. Unfortunately, fight fans write guys off after a loss (Berto, Ortiz, Alexander, Maidana, Khan, etc). I don't recall every GREAT in history to be undefeated or not have had some setbacks. Give them a chance.
