Was Joshua Clottey a bigger star than Sergio Martinez?

bob arum/pacquiao have no obligation to fight the middleweight champ of the world. Pac is 5'6 and barely even a welterweight, he's more of a true junior welterweight.

As for Clottey, is he a bigger name than Martinez? I doubt it, but he was the highest ranked available welterweight at the time when Pac fought him.

Watching alot of Bob Arums interviews, he always says that he's not interested in Sergio because he is not a star nor PPV attraction.

So he's not interested in him fighting Cotto, Chavez, Pacquiao or Margarito.

Clottey is a easier fight....Martinez can make Manny look REALLY bad with his style....now add on the fact that he's much much bigger....for Sergio it would be like taking candy from a baby.....so if I was making money off of Manny I wouldn't let him fight Sergio either...it would be ******...not good business imo....Floyd is bigger than Manny as well and from what I've seen...the SAME rules apply....Mr. Pac is making ALOT of ppl ALOT of cake these days....and they're not gonna let ANYBODY mess that up!!

Not only was he a bigger star than Martinez ever will be but hes faced the tougher fighters and has the better resume and more money in his bank account

Clottey is a B fighter and still an unknown but hardcore fans. He never headlined not even a showtime or HBO event unless there was a bigger name fighter.
