Pascal could be active and fight someone. There's Cloud (IBF), Cleverly (WBO, Diaconu, Erdei, Shumenov (WBA), Murat, Campillo, and Sillakh... All Top 10 Light Heavyweights... His last fight was a close decision lost to Hopkins... You're going to wait for the winner of Hopkins-Dawson II... Doesn't make sense; how can you earn a shot if you're not active?

Pascal has to do what WBC ordered - fight with Sillah in eliminator. But Pascal is ducking knowing that he'll loose it.

What's the deal with this dude? He's done nothing but sit around since the Hopkins loss. I know he didn't want to give Don King options on his next fight which is why he isn't fighting Cloud but he might as well have cause he's sitting on the shelf like a Don King fighter.

I've been wondering this too about Pascal. The 175lb division is a very deep one, even if it is an international one, yet he's been sitting idle doing nothing but complain about having to fight Sillakh in an eliminator and decline a fight with Cloud due to options from Don King. You'd think as a fighter, you lose a title, you get a shot with another champ, or get a chance to fight another guy for your title shot - you jump all over it. But, yet, here sits Jean Pascal doing nothing, but, well talking.

I heard he fights Ismayl Sillakh next. He's got trouble there if he just keeps on with the Pascal pot shots.
