Holy ****. I have seriously been losing respect for Dwyer over the last year or so, but this is nuts. He gave the fight to Williams based on the fact that (in his words) he didnt get knocked down, walked forward, and threw a lot. He also says not to be fooled by HBO's bias towards accurate fighters. Wow...someone with a youtube log in should link him to our "Who won the fight?" poll.
The commentary on Williams-Lara starts @ 4:00 but is almost impossible to listen to because he's so ****ing slow monotone and boring..Comment

I'd been on the fence about Dwyer and his viewpoints until now. I'm willing to listen to differing opinions about anything, since none of us are always right and there's always something else to consider. But scoring the fight for Williams seals it for me. Dwyer has been off one too many times, as far as I'm concerned.Comment

PW couldn't block the overhand left to save his life. How you let the same punch touch you over and over again is puzzling to me.Comment

Paul Williams
Let me ask you this.. Did any of you see Paul Williams and Carlos Quintana? I feel like Lara blueprinted a little of what he did in that first fight with the lean back and counterpunch strategy.
I think Lara hit Williams just as much as Quintana did and with just about as much effectiveness (granted Quintana did cut him up a lot more that Lara)
Who do you think beat up Williams more?Comment
