Comments Thread For: Bradley: Nacho Stop Making Excuses, I'll Beat Marquez!

On Friday BoxingScene.com ran articles in which Juan Manuel Marquez (53-6-1, 39KOs) and Timothy Bradley (28-0, 12KOs) both expressed interest in facing each other in the event that neither fighter wins the lucrative Manny Pacquiao sweepstakes.

This is the number #1 fight in boxing that needs to be made (of course Martinez vs maynever would be nice but maynever is scared of everybody). This Marquez vs. bradley fight is heating up fast and the winner could face Pacman in the fall after he takes a tune-up bout vs Cotto or Peterson but I would prefer Cotto for entertainment value plus would mot mine seeing Cotto get his a** kicked again. After that the winner of jmm vs Bradley could face pacman in the fall .

              Actually, I agree.

Outside of Martinez/Mayweather, I cant think of a better fight.

Mares/Moreno would be great, as would Ward/Bute, but this would likely be the best fight, and the result will have the biggest impact on boxing.

A very difficult fight for both guys.

Pac will fight Cotto again, I think we can all see that.

              Lets get it on !!

              WARRR Marquez !!

if its 50 bucks and they load the undercard i'll buy this on ppv

                60/70 is a bit much
i dont like to nitpick//complain, but for a boxing match they are really pushing it with these goddamn 70 dollar floyd ppvs

                ....

i think it could shape up into a great fight if bradley is going to try and take it to marquez

bradley is a lot bigger and stronger and craftier than the two pure come forward fighters and young that brought the best out of marquez in terms of action (katsidis, and diaz 1, two classic fights.)

i do see him coming forward all night, with marquez looking to control the pace and counter early, and probably eating the more effective stuff

i think he'd end up fighting and standing his ground a la katsidis and diaz, only with a much better opponent.

the most important aspect in shaping the fight would be their ages, in my opinion
bradley's youth and marquez milage on his legs

                bradley via decision
                maybe late knockout.

one of these days marquez is going to go down and have nothing left when he gets back up
if bradley can work the body and come forward for 12 rounds he could be the guy to stop marquez.
