I still think that is a tough fight for Andre Ward, Dirrell is so much longer and more rangy plus he uses it well. Ward is the better man inside and no slouch on the outside so it would be interesting to see how he would approach the fight.
I think the fight would be ugly as sin though so it is tough to call because it could really go either way at that point. Although if it happened soon Ward chances improve because Dirrell is not back in full swing yet but if both are in peak condition 50/50.Comment

I think Dirrell's reach and boxing skill give Ward some problems, but I just can't see Ward losing to anyone at 168. He'd find a way to win, probably forcing his way inside and mauling him. Probably not a pretty fight. Seeing alot of big Dirrell fans lately and was wondering how they think he'd pull it off.Comment

Well if Dirrell was to pull it off he would need to use his range and height, keep Ward on the end of his punches not letting him really get in range tying him up if he manages to get in close.
Easier said than done, and I had no clue Dirrell had a lot of fans on here. I felt coming up Dirrell would be better than Ward but really not much to back up that belief currently.Comment

just don't see how dirrell would pull it off and he's not mentally as strong as ward. I just can't imagine ward losing right now he's too mentally strong he'll find a way to break dirrell's will againComment

I just can't pick someone as soft as Andre Dirrell to beat Andre Ward. Maybe he would, he's the one guy I wouldn't be surprised to see do so at 168, but he's too damn soft.Comment
