Why doesnt Boxing have its own Channel?

I'm no expert in this and will highly appreciate someone with more knowledge on this subject to post but just wanted to know thoughts/reasons why you guys think boxing hasnt done this? or If they have in the past, what went wrong?

I mean seriously, I think its a very great way for all promoters to promote there fighters and for the public to get educated alot more about the fighters and sport. That should help increase the draw in this sport. They can do it similar to ESPN and throughout the day give us boxing news/interviews with fighters, trainers, experts, polls etc. Throughout the night they can give us "Classic fights": similar to what ESPN Classics does. Throughout weeknights they can do TV series such as "The Contender", "Light's Out", or even throw in a classic boxing movie. Shows like 24/7 or fightcamp 360 can also be televised here. Live weighins, Friday night fights & saturday night fights (similar to ESPN, HBO & SHowtime) can be broadcasted here too.

Am I asking for too much or is there too much pride amongst these promoters that will make this impossible? Thoughts?

We do get a lot of Wank Warren UK fighters on there, but he also get quite a few decent world fights on there as well such as Marg-Cotto 2 ect.

OK. See, thats where I think the problem is $$$ and promoters will fight to have there fighters on more.

True, problem is once a fighter is beaten there Value is greatly diminished from a promoters point of view.

e.g if mayweather/ Pac lost against the other do you still think they would clear 1 million PPV buys? like most sports nowadays Boxing is about the money and not the Legacy or fans.
