Comments Thread For: Steve Cunningham: Wlodarczyk, Huck Didn't Want To Unify

Cruiserweight contender and former champion Steve Cunningham (24-3, 12 KOs) had stated in a recent interview that he tried in the past to unify the titles at cruiserweight, but neither of the two champions, Marco Huck of the WBO and Krzysztof Włodarczyk of the WBC, had any interest. Cunningham gave Huck his first and only loss, stopping the German star in the twelfth round of their battle in 2009. He also fought Wlodarczyk twice, losing a close decision to the Polish champion in their first outing, but winning a close decision in the rematch.

I think Hernandez might win it even on points I think Cunningham has had a lot of fights of its possibly Hernandez time to shine even if he is not as good a boxer he is better than Wlod. I can see a close possibly controversial decision win for Hernandez who may have more of the bargaining power to choose the judges and ref in the rematch.

I'm looking forward to Hernandez-Cunningham II.

Hernandez will win if he improves his stamina, which let him down in the last fight.

Take on Jones or Tarver or Hernandez or Lebedev; they are all Titlists... Huck moving up so his WBO strap will be vacated... The Ring Championship is still up for grabs... Hernandez will be the one to call out not Huck or Wlodarczyk...
