Pacquiao/Marquez was not a close fight in anybody's eyes other than the HBO'S commentary team. I'm a PAC fan, but those compubox stats were bull****. Pacquiao had an argument for 3 rounds - maybe 4?.. Highest profile robbery in years

So "AT LEAST" what did Marquez deserve, if "AT BEST" all he deserved was a draw in your view?

Pacquiao didn´t win that fight on most people´s eyes and he still got an unanimous decision, what a joke. Pac deserves 2011´s most booed athlete award hands down.

this dosnt sound like a contradiction to you? the guy that landed the cleaner more effective punches was not the winner?

I don't buy all this GBP promotion bias. Of course *****s(brothas) and mexican fighters say Marquez won.
Actually it wasn't just Floyd fans and Marquez fans who thought Marquez won but many British and some Filipino fans as well. I watched the fight live on Sky sports and pretty much everybody on the panel thought Marquez won and called it a "disgraceful decision." Even Pacquiao's cheerleaders in the HBO broadcasting team seemed unsure if Pacquiao had really won the fight when the decision was announced. Every poll I've seen done on this fight had Marquez winning or had the fight a draw.

I've seen the fight two more times since it took place and I would agree that the fight was very close. But if you score fights on ring generalship, clean punching, and EFFECTIVE aggressiveness Marquez definitely pulled out a decision. I scored the fight 7 rounds to 5 for Marquez. At best this fight was a draw because there is no way Pacquiao won this fight if you score fights how they are supposed to be scored.

Marquez did land the more cleaner punches but you have to score on a 10 point per round system. So if you score it round by round I thought Pacquiao won more rounds than JMM. This is kind of like a Hopkins/Taylor 1 except I think Pacquaio fought a little better than Jermaine Taylor did.

im glad that pac - marquez wasn't mentioned, cuz it wasn't a robbery...yea marquez landed the harder, cleaner shots, but pacquiao was busier and still landed his fair share of blows....on compu box he landed more and threw more than marquez and i had a hard time judging who won what round....in my eyes, it was a close fight and since it was a close fight, the decision can go either way, an no i am not a *******, i just call fights the way i see 'em

funny how Marquez-Pac doesnt get a mention and 3/4 of the posts on this thread are on that fight, probably not the robbery of the year but for it not to get even a mention hmmm bit of bias there i think.

P.S. much respect to 'R.I.P. Chico' for being a Pac fan and not watching that fight through Pacvision.

I don't know why you guys put Compubox as a judge for a 12 round decision. If a boxer hits 200 punches in a fight, and the other hits 175, it doesn't mean the one with 200 punches won the fight. That's why you score rounds and not the fight at the end, because maybe a boxer hit 50 of those 200 punches in a single round. What about the other 11? You see?

Pac - JMM 3 is not a robbery, it was a close fight.

can you guys not tell the different between those words??
