Comments Thread For: Adamek Admits To His Training Errors With V. Klitschko

Former two division champion Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28KOs) admits to making some big errors in preparing for his recent fight with WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. Adamek, who trained in the United States, had issues adapting to the climate of Poland. Adamek's manager Ziggy Rozalski had advised him to hold his training camp in Poland, but he didn't listen. Klitschko stopped him in the tenth round of a one-sided fight in September. Adamek is back in training for a March return in the United States.

Please stop aDAMEK... YOU WERE grascious in defeat but now they're trying to pump you back up so you save a little face for your next opponent.. you could've acclimated your sorry asc in Pluto & you still would've received the same exact beatdown... you didn't react well to Vitali's PUNCHES because you were never hit with such hard shots in your life... yhou assumed the Grants & the mCBRIDES were going to prepare you for Vitali.. YOU THOUGHT YOU'D OUTSPEED him.. THEY ALL THINK that & they ALL get beaten to the punch.

Seriously? You lost because you weren't acclimated to your own damn country?

Adamek was small and weak in comparison to Klitschko and Vitali treated him as such. Vitali could lose an arm and still destroy Adamek.

C'mon it's pretty obvious that Adamek didn't lose because he wasn't acclimatized to his own country, he lost because he wasn't the best fighter that night against Vitali.

If we're honest Vitali could have KO Adamek at round 2, but he was unwilling to do it and that's why Adamek survived until the last rounds. Everytime Vitali landed a punch on Adamek it seemed that he would take him out. I still like Adamek, he did everything he could do but it just wasn't enough and still fought with courage until the end.

It surely didn't help that he was a light heavyweight beefed up to heavyweight.

The only error he made in his training camp was forgetting to get Wolverine style adamantium injected into his bones before the fight. That's the only thing that could have helped him.

As long as Wlad and Vitale hold those belts; Adamek will never be a Recognized Heavyweight Champion... He can beat Povetkin for the WBA Regular Belt. I can see him as the Undisputed NABF/WBC Continential/WBF/IBA/IBC/WBU/etc, second rated Heavyweight Champion... As for the Ring Heavyweight Champion Wlad K. owns that and Vitale K. is co-Ring Champ... Move on; Huck is fighting Povetkin for the Heavyweight "Belt"... Get to 200lbs and demand the WBO to let you fight for the Vacant WBO Cruiserweight Belt.... Tarver does a lot of announcing; doubt he's been training; call him out for the IBO Criuserweight Belt... Yoan Pablo Hernandez, call him out too... Tomasz! You can be a titlist again but not as a Heavyweight Titlist... Until K-2 retires; no one else will be able to challenge them for their Title Belts......

Go back to cruiserweight and unify the belts.

He's right, it was all acclimatization problems. Had nothing to do with a monstrous size mismatch, or that he didn't figure out how to actually punch Vitali, or that he got hit so many times my face hurt watching on TV. Nothing to do with all of that, it was all acclimatization problems.
