Mike Tyson
Sonny Liston
George Foreman
Vitali Klitschko
Wladimir Klitschko
This has nothing to do with what goes on in the ring but everything to do with what goes on before the 1st rd bell.
Even though I know Vitali Klitschko is the most dominating fighter ever.... i realize most of his opponents find out when they're actually fighting him & then get intimidated accordingly because of the bad press he receives fighters perceive they got a shot.
Mike Tyson to me scared the absolute living shet out of his opponents at his best & unbeaten days.. fighters were dealing with reputation as well as evidence as to what happens to his opponents.... the fact that he was crazy & beyond hyped as someone who was indestructible only added to there fear.
Sonny Liston was before my time but from all reports fighters were shetting bricks as well but Liston wasn't taking out fighters in the fashion Mike was.. most fighters were scared of his reputation outside of the ring with links to the mafia & he had a look of a stone cold killer.
Big George.. was scary because he was freakin' strong .. mean & would literally club you to death.. he had an invincibility & aura about him similar to Mike but he was morein line with beatdowns & combination punching.. similar to Vitali in terms of getting rid of his opposition.
Mike just came at you.. threw caution to the wind & instantly threw bombs.. no setting up with the jab.. he came straight at you to take your head off.
Wladimir Klitschko is on this list because of his size & strength but mostly because he has Vitali backing him up in all the prebout hype.. Fighters have to have the thought in the back of there head that there's 2 Klitschko's at all times if by chance the other goes down or gets jumped... so in reality it's the combination of both brother's that is most intimidating but for sheer fright & fear... when Mike was fighting & knocking out his victims.. it was so spectacular that you were thanking your lucky stars Mike wasn't throwing leather at you.
