I'm not big on alphabet titles in general, much less interim ones. But in Burns' case it fits. It's pretty clear that Marquez will never again fight at lightweight, and Guerrero bolted the moment he won the very same belt.

It can be debated whether or not it should've been Burns and Katsidis fighting for the title, but relatively speaking I don't take much issue w/ Burns being considered a champ/beltholder/titlist/whatever.
