ya I can see that. The reason I want Lee is I have met him a few times and my parents are from the same place as him in Limerick, Ireland. He is a real cool dude.

MAYWEATHER VS PACMAN - no comments need, i think if this fight doesn't get made for late 2012 then we can forget it.

DAWSON VS HOPKINS - hopkins has ducked dawson and i think in the second round he found a way out and took it. imo this fight has less of a chance of occuring than the mayweather vs pacman fight. hopkins is the worst cherry picker in this sport.

FROCH VS KESSLER - an epic war the first time around and i think a homecoming superfight against kess make all round sense. froch wants to show the first fight was a hometown decision and for kess this is a very winnable fight against a highly ranked SMW.

CLEVERLY VS SHUMENOV - a unification fight between two strong lions, whats there not to like!!

ALVAREZ VS KIRKLAND - i'd settle for alvarez to face either kirkland or cotto but i think a fight against cotto might be too soon for saul. i think kirkland would be a good scalp as he is beatable and i think this fight has a good chance of coming off.

BRADLEY VS BERTO/ORTIZ/MAIDANA - im a big fan of bradley. i think hes a very good fighter and will probably be primed for a superfight with pacman by his promoter. imo before he gets into the ring with pacman he needs a fight at WW with the berto/ortiz winner. failing that id lie to see him get it on with some other top LWW (preferably maidana or the winner of peterson/khan)

                    this is in no order:

                    mayweather and martinez

                    ward and bute

                    morales and marquez

                    pacquiao and mayweather

                    donaire and moreno

                    rios and maidana

i'd also like to see canelo and chavez step up this year.
kirkland for canelo. what a fight that would be. id take canelo to outbox him but he'd have to mind his gas tank against a beast like kirkland.
i think canelo is a complete offensive fighter. if he can take a few more steps with his boxing he's going to be a rough go at 154. i'd like to see consistency with his head movement and a nice double jab in front of his combinations or even standing alone. he'll need it against larger opponents down the road.

neither guy has been in with a precise power puncher like the one he'd be up against. canelo is a heavy handed technician with nice combinations and all that strength and kirkland's got faster hands and can flat out **** with them.

chavez might need to take it a bit more lightly as he's not likely to beat russian pirog or golovkin (who are going to make the mw division pretty damn scary in 2012 if they can just build them in the states.)

likewise with broner, russel jr, and my less talented hometown guy edwin rodriguez.

there are plenty of prospect come contender type guys (with broner being an untested contender more than anything. his fight with ponce was certainly a step up but ponce is a much smaller guy and he didnt press hard on the gas pedal.)
