It's good that he offered a clarification but bad because it's all because of the negative press. He didn't go to church or see a blinding light from the heavens; he looked at reality and adjusted himself accordingly. The chances that he's liable to learn from this situation are as great as Mayweather-Pacquiao happening in 2012.

The answer to 99 out of 100 questions? MONEY. They WBC knows if they strip him they won't collect the large sanctioning fee that would come their way if Floyd defended the title. It goes by a percentage of the purse and obviously his purse would be a lot larger then anyone else in the 147 lbs division.
