Baja Boxing has announced the signing of undefeated Mexicali fighter Cesar "Saba" Vazquez (24-0, 15 KOs). Baja Boxing also promotes former champion Humberto Soto and prospect Antonio Lozada Jr. In one of his more notable wins, Vazquez, a rising super featherweight, stopped Antonio Meza in two rounds. Gary Russell Jr. stopped Meza is four rounds. Vazquez is hoping Baja Boxing gets him a title shot in 2012.

I tweeted Oscar de la Hoya to sign this guy not too long ago. Still too early to tell if he will be a champ, but he is a good prospect. I saw him fight in Mexicali about 2 years ago and I liked his style.very precise puncher with descent power.
