I still don't see how any of this discussion has to do with hitting an untrained, physically inferior woman in an act that was certainly not done in self-defense by any accounts in front of their children. That's inexcusable no matter how you look at it.
A man with trained fists should have enough pride and self-control not to lay their hands on anyone except in the most severe of cases, which this obviously wasn't since Mayweather wasn't exactly under physical threat. I'm well-aware that this doesn't happen most of the time, a lot of boxers, great boxers too, have physically abused people often without reason but it's hardly acceptable. A couple of months in jail sounds fair.
Life goes on once he gets out, hopefully without further trouble.

I had an ex girlfriend who got so angry with me that she swung a bat at me, now according to today's society I was just suppose to turn and walk away but instead I was skilled enough to grab the bat and restrain her. The moral of the story is aint nothing like a scorned woman for whatever reason and in my situation it wasn't another woman. We don't know what happened in Floyd's situation so we should treat it as we don't know unless he badly injured her which there's no evidence that he did. Society says no matter what a man should never hit a woman but a woman also knows that and sometimes she uses it. I have a feeling that Josie was in control of the situation cause it's apparent that Floyd could've hurt her if he wanted to.

I'm all for being a "man" but this also means taking responsibility for one's actions, something Mayweather is having to deal with here. It's no grave issue, he joins the unfortunately long list of boxers who have gone through the same thing.
Mayweather can't really claim a moral ground here either since it was he who heavily criticized Corrales for what may have been a more severe but similar case.

SO tell me. YOu currently have a wife who stays at home, cooks for you, cleans and raises your children?
The divorce rates in this country aren't sky high for no reason.
I've had multiple chances to have children and get married with different wives. I declined all offers and thankfully so.
The only thing I'm starting to regret though is not having the children. I know I did it for a purpose at the time (young, wanted a career first), but now I'm having second thoughts. I just turned 29 though.
