The WBO world middleweight champion, 31-year-old Russian boxer Dmitry Pirog (19-0, 15KOs), has indicated his willingness to face the "super champion" of the WBA, 32-year-old German Felix Sturm (36-2, 15KOs). It was recently revealed by German television channel Sat.1 that April 13 is reserved for Sturm's next defense. Pirog was mentioned as one of the possible opponents to face the German star.

Sturm gets fucked up, and I doubt this fight happens. Sturm is an absolute fraud, no pride at all.

            Meanwhile...

Gennady Golovkin: “Felix Sturm has to get into the ring with me or lay down his title.”

I think Sturm is going to drop the WBA title and just grab the IBF title from Geale to avoid his WBA mandatory.

              Very even fight IMO.

              Slightly favor Pirog.

Good luck trying to corner Sturm, especially in Russia.

I'd absolutely love to see this fight.

I hope Sturm mans up and carries through with what he said, but I have my doubts.

Pirog said he would prefer Russia, but he's willing to go to Germany to fight Sturm.
