It' not even about what he has said here, although you are right, he does state the obvious.

It's about calling a 25 year old former world champion boxer, one who was being talked about as a potential opponent for the top two p4p boxers in the world, who has just lost a fight a ''nobody''.

The late fans of the great era must be turning in their graves and the ones still alive, i hope to god they never have to interract with a modern day boxing fan. A fighter loses a fight and he gets completely written off. It's just the way the majority of modern day boxing fans are, and they, mark my words will be the root cause of the death of boxing.

I agree with you in theory, but I dont think is is the true in this case. He is not being written off as a boxer, but he is being written off as a worthy opponent of Floyd. And I believe he should be. He has never shown that he was worthy of that and alolt of boxing fans believed this before his loss.
and its not even his first loss. This loss just proved what alot of people already knew, and that is this guy is nowhere near Floyd. And the fact he ran his mouth so much about how he was just added to the firestorm that has rained down on him and i believe deservedly so. And thats without mentioning his current appeals about his loss which only comes across as him being even more of a farce.

He can keep fighting. Challenge Ortiz, Challenge Berto, Keep Floyds name out your mouth. If he does those things, his critisism will be 1/10 of what it is now.

When you say a guy like Lamont Peterson, what do you mean? How do we know that this guy isn't as good as Floyd or Manny? He had a draw with Ortiz after being knocked down twice. So without the knockdowns, he wins. He lost a close fight to Bradley, who I truthfully think is an "A" fighter. Now, he's beaten Khan. Rumors had it that he went blow for blow with Floyd in sparring, so we don't know how good this guy is. He's simply not flashy and doesn't get that much media attention. But outside of Floyd, what black fighter does???

Bradley won 10 of 12 rounds against peterson. It wasnt close.

I'm Khan fan, but ever since his lost to Peterson he's been saying some pretty outlandish things.

Khan's attitude and what he just said in the title quote is exactly what's wrong with most of the prizefighters in the sport today.

Lamont Peterson gave him all he could handle and made him look ridiculous.... somehow now he is READY for Floyd?!?!?

He is really a dreamy guy... He was really sitting on luck when he survived round 10 of the Maidana fight as well. He just doesn't get it. He has no clue how to fight in the trenches while in the clinch. He has elite speed.. He can let loose as quick as the best of them. But other than that. He doesn't offer much. No head movement, stiff hips, he stops sitting on his punches as the fight progresses, gets trapped on the ropes OFTEN, and is a sucker for every single uppercut thrown, has no chin at all.. But most importantly, his coach seems very unmotivated during his fights. I really think Freddie is all about Manny at this point in his coaching career and he should really be a one fighter trainer. He seems too uninterested in Amir's fights.

Amir is better off moving to Welter...

Why you ask??? Because the way the fight played out against Lamont you could tell he just would be unable to look IMPRESSIVE. Lamont more than held his own and Amir would have to beat him by brutal KO to reestablish his "credibility." He isn't knocking Lamont out folks. And I really don't see the rematch happening...

Floyd should be the last thing on Amir's mind... and believe me when i tell you....

Jesus Queen Khan, STFU already! We got it...you want Floyd, you can beat Floyd, Floyd is in decline...bla bla bla bla! Enough already! Why don't you focus on improving your skillset, instead of stalking Floyd like a dumped ex-gf LOL. We know you want a payday, who doesn't? Here is some advice Khan, things you can work on while waiting on Floyd:
1- Learn to plant your feet better when you throw a power shot. (i.e. stop running 24/7)
2- Learn to not lunge when you punch and lean forward with your head out there (stop fighting with with an amateur style).
3- Try more effective combos and less "shoeshine" to just win points.
4- STOP running around like chicken with its head cut off when the guy in front of you does not crumble when you hit him. (news flash Khan, your name is not Valero, Klitschko or Shavers....you aren't that destructive).
5- Learn to fight on the inside, so you don't need 10 feet between you and your opponent to do damage.
6- Stop going straight back when you retreat, and keep your hands down when you do retreat in your circles that we see so often.
7- Get a NEW trainer, because Roach is not the one to get you where you need to be.

Now stop whining Queen Khan!!
