Depends what you mean by duck. Ducking as in PAC's team knew Soto had a great shot at beating PAC, I don't think so, although I think Soto would've given PAC fits from early to mid rounds.

I've seen Soto fight live several times already, and he's faster in person than on t.v. and has terrific movement as well. But, PAC's firepower would've simply overwhelmed him.

Now, if you mean PAC ducked Soto for greener pasture, then yes, I agree.

yes because fighting guys like marquez, then moving up in weight fighting Diaz, then Oscar, then Hatton, then Clottey and so on was easier than staying at 130 and fighting soto.

Moving up three weight classes and fighting all top opponents versus fighting soto. hmm...

Doesn't Matter your only making Assumptions, and thats your Opinion and I respect that, But the Most Logical Choice was to Fight Soto . He didn't therefore yes he ducked him.... All of Mexico has heard of Soto and most of my Friends, Just because you havent heard of him doesn't mean hes not worth of getting his shot ...

no shame in moving up in weight and fighting a title holder (albeit not the best in the division) to get a feel of the extra weight is totally fine. I don't hear people crying over donaire fighting vazquez jr or anything like that since it's his first fight at the weight.

And no shame to loosing to guzman he is dam good fighter would of given pac hell thats for sure.
I know how good guzman is, my question was when was the time frame when pac should have fought him? the only time soto's name ever came up is when arum said pac will fight the winner of soto vs guzman, and soto lost. Pac ended up fighting marquez which is a better fight than either of those guys. So I'm trying to figure out exactly when pac should have fought soto...
